Creating our Reality with every Thought we Think & Belief we hold…

EVERYthing is Energy….

Posted by carolom on April 10, 2017

We live in an Electrical Universe.

What do you notice about the following sentence?

She was happy that her current circumstances had improved and continued to do so with increasing frequency.
She was now generating more income and even found people commenting that the manner in which she conducted her business affairs was very inspirational.
It seemed that her circumstances were now really moving in the direction she had decided on some time ago and she was even thinking about upping the amplitude somewhat and developing the business further than she had first envisioned
Only last week her close friend observed that many of the new strategies she had put in place, demonstrated a really enlightened approach to business and marketing.
There was an element of surprise on all of this…

 very similar Circuit’stances

All of these words are words that are used when speaking the language of both electricity and “electrical” verbs, adjectives and nouns.

They are words that relate to both the conduct of electricity and the conduct of human affairs.

The electrical activity of the brain can be tracked. People who conduct an exceptionally high voltage of electrical currents can experience a range of phenomena from epilepsy through to conducting brain activity that is often termed manic enduring thought currents that become rapid, discordant and often create havoc and heartache.
Manic and shamanic are two words closely related and both relate to energies that are not seen or felt by others.

The movie Powder dramatised what happened when someone become SO highly charged that, like with electrolysis, all body hair falls out and the person is quite literally a conductor of electricity. Because Powder conducted such high frequencies he was able to feel the feelings, thoughts and intentions of the world around him. There was no barrier between “you and me”.

It is interesting to note the following words:

Genius: Geni~In~Us

“A region of the Earths atmosphere (“atom=sphere”), extending from about 60 kilometres to approx 1,000 kilometres above the Earths surface, in which there is a high concentration of free electrons formed”.

Indigenous people of many  cultures understand the nature of the energetic universe that we are a part of and is a part of us. It is a world view that  differs vastly from the European way of conducting affairs.

A common link that many Indigenous cultures share, including  African, Aboriginal, Native American and Canadian, Egyptians and the Ancient Greeks, is that communion with nature is deeply woven into culture and spiritual practices.

It is a very different energetic relationship with time and space than in the European world view .

As is the relationship with the elements.

The shaman, medicine men and women and people of high degree consciously work for the highest good of the community in the invisible space where the Spirit world, the energetic world and the co-creative world where mind and focused intent meet.

The human mind is a powerfully wired conductor of electricity and has a complex system of chemistry and neurological pathways ways that control the nervous system functions of thousands of bodily movements, actions and processes

The brain stem is a stalk of nerve fibres and nuclei that joins the spinal cord to the cerebellum and cerebrum and the brain stem centres automatically control activities like breathing, heartbeat, and digestion.

Neurons are nerve cells and neuro networks form the nervous system, the word “neurotic” pertains the “neuro” or nervous system.
A neurotic person is often anxious, uptight, obsessive and generally conducting their inner world in a way that does not bring peace of mind and happiness into their life.

Perhaps new’rows of thinking may be an answer to the old neuros that define fixed states and unchanging behaviors. Many people know that there is a vaster Universal Mind that many people contact with sporadically and unconsciously.
The universal mind may well be the 90% of our brain that Einstein stated remains unused.

We are both the conductor and the instrument, the melody and the lyrics, an instrument  in the orchestra and the ‘awechestration’ of our life.

I designed this Mandala to represent the Energy….

Thankyou to my friend Nungala for colouring in the black and white master copy.

The Artists Way…

Posted by carolom on April 29, 2007

I am a graduate and advocate of Julia Camerons process called “The Artists Way”.

It is a twelve week creative recovery process and for the 84 days and beyond – takes you into a very personal place of Creative healing, recognition, recovery and empowerment. A self inventory and reclaiming of some ofthe inner gifts and talents we may  have lost touch with.

The Artists Way takes you  on a 12 week, deeply intimate journey with the Self….this process changes lives and I have been the Artists way buddy for several people over the years, all who have had life changing results as a result of recovering their Creative Self, especially if they complete the process as many people begin but aren’t yet ready to commit to completing the full journey.

For graduates, the journey of the Artists Way releases many of the myths and monsters, limiting habits and old patterns around Creativity in order to craft  the kind of  life they seek, rather than the one they have been living.

PROCESS is a very key word in the Artists Way Journey as the wonderful giftings of the quantum leap often leave some areas once blocked and stuck now open and full of possibilities but without the HOW factor…

The Artists Way is in book form, you study and creatively evolve at home…if you do the course with a friend it is a great way to meet weekly and share the processes from week 1 -12

Each week has a Creative Recovery theme…the word “Reclaim” would work as well in the context of how the course unfolds…

Weeks 1 – 12 are:
Recovering a sense of Safety
Recovering a sense of Identity
Recovering a sense of Power
Recovering a sense of Integrity
Recovering a sense of Possibility
Recovering a sense of Abundance
Recovering a sense of Connection
Recivering a sense of Strength
Recovering a sense of Compassion
Recovering a sense of Self protection
Recovering a sense of Autonomy
Recovering a sense of Faith

Here are some Amazon reviews for The Artists Way…it is not for everyone but many attest to it being the process that changed their life!

A New Batch of Warrior Women…Strong Mind and Peaceful Heart

Posted by carolom on April 7, 2007

Each week in my ART of Change ~ Law of AttrACTION program we make a piece of Art /Craft the embodies that weeks discussion…

As an artist and life coach I place a great deal of importance on the visual /auditory AND kinestic process of learning – Seeing, Hearing and Doing- CREATING …the way we learnt as young children in a visually rich, imaginative and engaging environment works for adults in ways that sitting passively with a white board and speaker does not engage with all of the preferred learning styles….

e.g. When looking at the “Poverty to Prosperity Consciousness” week we make a ProsperiTree:

When embarking on the journey to call on the “Warrior Woman Within” we create her as we discuss who She is…
They are made from a basic black and white template…

These are some of the new flock of Warrior Women that were birthed in a domestic violence outreach group that I had the privilege of facilitating over 5 weeks….

The headress symbolises the importance of developing Strong Thoughts forms and controlled Thinking
The Heart is the importance of connecting with Feelings but not solely driven by emotional responses to the world
And the wings demonstrate that when we are centred and balanced and understand the Power we have to create our Reality….we can fly like \never before…..

My wonderfully-creative Mother even made a couple of Warrior Women of her own…they now travel to workshops with me and inspire others with their creative gorgeousness….
You can see her with them here…….

Statue Comes to Life!!

Posted by carolom on April 2, 2007

I was given a cute little statue of three groovy cats a few years ago and it has sat on top of my fridge ever since.

As you can see the calico, marmalade and black and white cats are all set for a day in the sun.

Well something very strange happened last year when two little kittens appeared in my back yard…brother and sister they were remarkably similar to two of the Fridge Cats.
Well as they say in the stories…By and by…within a month a THIRD cat appeared, abandoned by the chaotic family who moved out without him……a black and white cat…who I called Billy (after William Shakespeare – Billy purred like a poet).

I was able to find him a home because fluffy purring Shakespearean cats are in high demand during non-kitten season…
The other two, Gabrielle and Raphael – Gabi and Ralphy….come and go in the yard.

As you can see by their photos….my statue came to life with amazing replication!….. and true to the Law of Attraction my warm feelings for cats combined with my statue that imprinted the images in my subconscious mind every time I opened the fridge…resulted in my statue coming to life with in a meeowsy-furry-purry way!

We ALL have a Big Story in a small Suitcase….

Posted by carolom on March 17, 2007

I love the internet and the amazing connections, stories, access to information and food-for-Thought that flies serendipitously throughout cyber space but…….Computers and the internet can NEVER replace….

A suitcase?….not JUST a suitcase…….

….a life time of stories and journals and memories that began with my first note book in 1979 when I was travelling around Australia in a caravan with my gorgeous old english sheep dog Shamus……..years of joy and laughter and lessons and b’lessons… and the angst-filled times that seemed they would never pass (they always do)….all crammed into the suitcase that is covered in dust and old memories….Thoughts dreamt in ink from the days when cyber travels and connections seeemed like a science fiction dream.

……We are living the Dream…

It is my Intention to write my Big Story…the story we all have to tell……the story found not only in our books and photograph albums but the Story that can be found in who we are Becoming….for we never really “Become’…change and new challenges, broader Dreams and larger canvases ensure that our Story is one of Becoming and will always be filled with many chapters not yet known….My suitcase has traveled through the times of teenage turmoil and homelessness that lead to working in homelessness for 20 years….the caravan trip that lasted for 4 years and the people I met along the way….the murder of my life long friend and the birth of our families beloved twins……

….my beloved teacher Molly- click here- and the years we spent in psychic /spiritual development and healing………the end of a relationship that I thought would never end and the journey back to happiness…..the Mystery School event where I met my true beloved…and the stories of the people who have passed through my life, leaving beautiful memories and photographs and videos….to todays story of the blessing of being able to provide …

Art based Empowerment training using creativity for change….

Perhaps you might like to think about writing your Big Story too?

Weapons of Mass Distraction…

Posted by carolom on January 14, 2007

WORDS SWORD…….same word…often similar in meaning when you consider that a Sword can both slash to ribbons or sculpt with finite precision.

If our Words, like the Sword are a weapon…..we‘a’ Pon……which we can learn to wield with power and influence….then it would have to be a good idea to consider the whole gamut of ‘weapons’ including those that will only move us away from our goal of connection, peace, power and prosperity so we know….sew we know…..when to exercise caution and redirection of Attention……..

This is my first draft of an A ~ Z list of Weapons of Mass Distraction that define what not to do /be/ think /reflect upon /speak/ say/ act/ beleive /visualise when consciously co~creating the life we were born to live…..

Weapons of mass distraction:
Cynicism and Criticism
Machinating Media
Quoting doom
Sexism and Sarcasm
Unforgiving of self and others
X partner issues
Zealous attachments

Interestingly the act of simply giving THOUGHT to ‘weapons of mass distraction’ creates a different feeling within than the alternate word list of words that construct and create in a way that keeps us connected to the source….LOVE.

I remember the informative scene in “What the Bleep” where it was explained that every single emotion has a chemical equivalent and how the chemicals associated to the list above would be of the kind that flood-the-blood with the chemistry of the toxins of disconnection and ill health.

Many people think and feel themselves into a state of ill health and sour-disposition….focusing on only pain and cruelty in the inner and outer world……..our hospitals are filled with that particular manifestering of the amazing way we humans are Creators.

…in no particular Order…..AWEder…..

More please
Show me the way
I Love you
How can I be of assistance?
Let’s share our resources……
Wow! This is a great opportunity

I took this photo of two bees doing their thing and simply BEE~ing….
Undistracted by extranneous thought or concern as to whether there will be enough pollen to go round, they simply get on with what they are here to do….to create the sweet elixir of life…..Honey…….they are not unlike us…..we are here to co-create the sweet elixir of life from the ‘ONE’y………;)

Spirit of Love ~ Rock Me

Posted by carolom on January 12, 2007

My Sister sent me this song…”Spirit of Love’…after the opening there is a chant:
“Spirit of Love
Take me in the palm of your hand 2X
Spirit of Love Rock me, rock me, rock me”

A short clip of it is here….the chant begins about a third way in…
Spirit of love

The full version is ten minutes long….

It was totally mesmerising ( in a drive safe way) ….

Truly if you wish to activate the feeling of Love at a deeper level, listen to the Spirit of Love with headphones on….it was so magnetic that I stepped out of my cabin into the morning light and two little girls, sisters were playing in the playground….singing together at the top of their voices..:
“I love you everyday everday I love you”

They told me they just made it up right then but I KNOW that The Spirit of Love song created currents that permeated the air and landed in the gorgeous consciousness of these two little girls who were in the circle of love fifteen feet from my cabin where the song was playing…..

How Blessed I AM to have a sister to share such a beautiful piece of music with me

I created this Mandala a few years ago that speaks of the Essence of Oneness…

Drama De-tox Unit open for business

Posted by carolom on December 26, 2006

We live in an age where much of the media content is produced by and for the adolescent mind set…”Brad and Ange”…”Brittney wears no undies”…”He did this she did that did not did too it was your fault – not it was YOURS”…
“You are the baddies and I am the goody”….Drama drama drama….

The LAW OF ATTRACTION states that “where attention goes energy flows”…and “THOUGHTS CREATE REALITY

Television screens are immersed in murder, mayhem, trickery, The Good-guys (usually America)… The Bad-guys (always the East)……newspapers have become gossip tabloids, magazines blah-blah books…and in the midst of this soulless-saturation…many people are fully , energetically-Law-of-Attraction engaged in creating and re-creating their OWN draaaamaas and endless patterns of chaotic lives….yet desiring a life of happiness and fulfillment at that quiet place of reflection when heads are laid on pillows and Thoughts rise about “what is happening in my life and why??”

The following piece is a light hearted reminder for us all that whilst “drama” often plays a role in our learning of Lifes Lessons and Bless’ns…..we actually have far more C.H.O.I.C.E.S about what we engage our Energy with than we might realise…….

I~nstead of

A Cautionary Tale Dedicated to the recovering Dramaholic in all of us….well many of us.

This is a fictionally true transcript from Dramaholics Anonymous, held at a venue….and a venyou…. nearby………..

Trouble“Hi my name is Trouble and I am a Dramaholic.

Person A ~Hi Trouble”
Person B ~”Welcome Trouble”
Person C ~(Just nods head slightly…doesn’t like to welcome Trouble anymore)

Group Leader:“Welcome Trouble. It is so good you have decided to come along and we’d appreciate it if you would tell us a bit about yourself”

Trouble:“Well I was born into Trouble…my mama was a Drama Queen and my daddy was nowhere to be found.
Mama modelled Drama to us kids very well. She taught us to always pick the wrong kind of guy, make sure there was lots of chaos in our life before getting rid of him and then go out and find another one and get on with the whole dang thing again!”

Person A~ Praise the Lord I think we had the same mama
Person B~ Heavens above…I think I might be your mama
Person C~ silence….no longer even looks Trouble in the eye…

Group Leader“So what has made you decided to come to Dramaholics, Trouble?”

Trouble “Well there I was in the midst of wagging my finger at yet another person who seemed to just want to make my life more complicated..my latest boyfriend who proved to be just like the last three …and all of a suddenI looked up and saw my mama standing there in front of me”

Group Leader“Why was this a problem”?

Trouble “Well she has been dead for ten years but I tell you when I looked up in that bathroom mirror and saw my mamas familiar weary face and angry brow and recognised that disappointed look in her eye, barely concealing those unshed tears…….I KNEW I was in big Trouble!
I stood there looking in the mirror and remembered all the times I had fleshed out arguments in my life.
How many times I found myself bickering with people cause they were so wrong and I was so right and I KNEW I needed to make them see my point of view.
After all the Trouble in me had a very strong calling to point out to others their failings and how to correct themself so they would be just like me.
Then I remembered how many times I would get to a peaceful place and it felt REALLLL uncomfortable so I would start looking around and find someone to make a bit of Trouble with or criticise someone near to me for letting me down or not acting how I thought they should be acting!

Group Leader…“Well Trouble..you have come to the right place and the first thing we would like to do, after the big group hug , is give you a new name…((((((((00000))))))So from now on we will all know you as:

“GrownUp!”We reckon you have had enough Trouble for one life time and with your new insight…cause you have finally seen that you have been creating this Drama in your life for too long now…you earn your Brand New name…

Grown Up…..(blinking modest tears of appreciation and realistion how lonely she had been for so long whilst she was Trouble) “Well thankyou SO much for that…I am amazed that I only had to come here to Dramaholics once to finally really get the message……that when I let go of Trouble…then I really truly am all Grown Up!…

The End

The BE~ginning……

“Men occasionally stumble across the Truth but most pick themself up and hurry off as if nothing has happened”.

Father Christmas has a few dramaaamaaagghs of his own…..

Earth, Water, Fire and Air – We are all Connected There

Posted by carolom on December 22, 2006

This is a copy of the black and white Elemental Mandala I created for a “remembering we are all connected” workshop (centre).

It is coloured in and cut out and mounted to create a 3 dimensional plaque Mandala.

I was running an Art of Change training workshop for 12 counsellors representing many footsteps ….All around the room the Earth, Water Fire and Air Mandala was being coloured in…rich warm flames, deep blue seas….as I looked around the tables it was as if a circle of little campfires had emerged and the warmth and connectedness in the room was palpable.

A peaceful, playful atmosphere and I was feeling very pleased with how the “Sacred Nature of the work that We Do and Creativity in the Workplace” workshop was going ….very well indeed….

We were at a semi remote camp site, 60 kms south of Adelaide… “Douglas Scrub”, surrounded by the beautiful Australian bush, several kilometers from the nearest town…

We broke for afternoon tea and upon stepping outside saw a huge puff of billowing smoke over the next hill……the wind was blowing towards us and after a brief period of uncertainty…we were evacuated because of a FIRE heading our way….

Oh the theatre of our Fire Evacuation!…tables full of elemental Mandalas….the Community Connections bus with a flat tyre-that-was-changed-very-quickly…art gear tossed will nilly into pillow cases and car boots….Relaxation and Meditation session tossed out the window!

The bush fire water-plane zooming over head….

I unwittingly launched my new Mandala in the baptism of “Fire, fire fire”…

Fortunately the camp site was safe, the Fire was contained and in amongst all this I was gifted with a new insight:

When creating with Fire…especially on a Full Moon day.. ….do not underestimate the power of the collective energy of a group of people colouring the elemental Spirits into Being….

Engaging with art and creativity during workshops provides a creative mind massage, engages all of the senses and is just simply FUN and enjoyable…..transforming the image from the black and white copy is a wonderful way to reactivate dormant creativity and to bring ones own unique perspective to a concept…. but be warned!…..when creating camp fires in the place of imagination and creativty, you just might need to make sure you know exactly what you are dealing with…..;)

For interest the words on the bottom of the plaque are by Luisah Teish:

Earth, Water, Fire and Air
Within me all things are there

Flesh on my bones is like the Earth
soft but strong and full of worth

The blood that flows within my veins
Is like the ocean, river and rain

My Spirit soars and takes me higher
Here is where I keep my Fire

My breath and thoughts are like the air
I can do EVERYthing and go ANYwhere

Earth, Water, Fire and Air
within me all things are there
And so I pledge unto myself
Power and Love and Health and Wealth

She is not Ugly…..She is just Scared

Posted by carolom on December 22, 2006

A large part of my work is in the homeless, health and housing sectors and I work with some wonderful, creative, interesting, often very wounded and not-yet-recovered teenage Mothers….young Women who are very early in the journey of self actualisation and in many cases living a life style of “children having children’…passing on generational, toxic patterns that often result in their own children entering the homeless-teenage-parenting realm just a few years down the track…..
We had a graduation day in our “Art of Change” personal development group the other day…It is a group that met monthly throughout 2006 and covered topics such as the power of the Mind, the law of attraction, using creativity and art for creating change.

One of the girls, a 19 year Mother of a 3 year old girl was sharing how she sees the world differently than she did a year ago and how her insight had made her more aware of others and “even animals”….

The young Women in the group are generally uneducated in the formal sense, often having left school as a young teenager…. but very much school-of-life young graduates, most having experienced sexual assault, violence, crime and abandonment in their childhood….
Therefore their use of language and metaphor is usually straight from the hip and a rich alternative to the ‘well spoken’ social interactions of other young Women who have had a more stable beginning in non abusive homes ……and were able to stay in the one school long enough to receive an education.

This particular participant was explaining how there are two abandoned /homeless kittens living in the bottom of her garden and how she has been making a decision as to whether or not to adopt them, having fed them for a month now and feeling confident that she is staying put in her state housing home.

She made a statement that spoke so much more than the thing she was immediately referring to.

She said that when she first saw the kittens they looked like they were “really f***ing ugly” (“f****g being an adjective, verb, joining word, pause and noun all in one sentence much of the time for these young Persephones)….

She then said “Now I realise they were not ugly…they were just ******g scared all the time and it made them look wierd”….

I thought about how so many of the people who came to the shelter over the years often had a very unappealing and unattractive vibration….pain and anger and loss and rage and grief and hopelessness…as staff we came to identify a particular smell that is connected to poverty and despair…it is like an aura of miasma mixed in with the poor hygeine and bad-breath sighs…it is a smell that can permeate a whole house and very unpleasant to be around.

She concluded her story saying “The kittens look beautiful now…they are happy and they know they are getting fed and someone cares for them…it’s amazing how they went from so ******ing ugly to ***** gorgeous!”

The human animal is not so different from the furry-animal kingdom in many ways and I was reminded about how a group of at-risk youths my partner was teaching in a high-need school transformed in an instant when they hired black tie suits and had a visit to the barbers to receive an award for a film project they had produced.

“The robes madeth the man” and it set up a whole new FEELING of pride, deservability and new-view of “Who I am”…
We just got the news this week that one of the boys has been accepted in to film school and this happened only because he had access to new opportunities that created a new FEELING of the world of film, cameras and stories instead of anger, rebellion, more anger and more rebellion. Disconection from love and Soul purpose can be a very ‘ugly’ thing…it creates wars, makes people hurt one another and at it’s most deepest felt….compels a person to take their own life….

I am very grateful that the young personal development graduate shared her story in the language she did because the words “She is not ugly she is scared” have inspired me to contemplate those words “Begin Within” and how feeling undeserving /fearful /unattractive /inferior on the inside will mirror back to us a distorted reality on the outside….the ultimate flaw in the Mirrorcle of Life….and send out a loud and clear message of self loathing and disconnection to the world around us.

Purrly our once homeless stray cat. A strange look in her eye remembering life on the streets as a homeless kitty…

Feeling sooo much more at peace and no longer scared….

And of course Love and  acceptance and Friendship takes away that ugly, scared feeling….. heals every time….
