Thousands lose job because of Law of Attraction…

Breaking News from the Celestial Times:

27th January 2006

(NB ~ Root word of ‘Crisis’ is Opportunity).

The two most senior Celestial and Human Services CEO’s, Mr Omnipotent and Mr Diablo met recently to discuss the unprecedented situation happening on Earth, the largest Soul School in their jurisdiction.

Putting aside their long history of conflict of interest, the Omnipotent and Diablo had much to discuss as a Celestial crisis is looming.
It seemed that in the last 12 months between 750,000 and one million Angels had become redundant over night as The Humans began turning Within in large numbers. Some say this is a very conservative estimate and will reach millions by the end of 2007.

An emergency meeting was called to discuss the future directions of the Assistance to Humans on Earth Unit.
The unit is the largest Guardian Angel employers body this side of Neptune..
Urgent talks have begun now that many Guardian Angels, once fully employed on 24 hour-watch of The Humans were no longer needed. and people are rejecting the Guardian Angel concept in droves.

Apparently many of The Humans are now questioning if the Guardian Angels were really ever there in the first place which has come as quite a shock to some of the more sensitive Angels who always did their very best to answer all prayers (after selection and processing) as per their job specification of “Link between Heaven and Earth”

It seems that the much awaited and strategically planned expansion of the Law of Attraction information, released gradually by the Universal Laws Department (ULD) over many centuries has not been without its challenges.

There has been an unprecedented response since the expansion of the LoA information that was planned to coincide with the New Millenium celebrations.

Unfortunately an unscheduled terrorist attack, several bouts of sickness upon Mother Earths body resulting tidal waves, fires and earth quakes meant that the scheduled global “Ah~Ha” events did not actually begin until late in 2005….5 years later than originally planned.
Over many centuries the Universal Laws Department has been implementing a strategic expansion of the Law of Attraction Information and Application Legislation (LoAI&A) in a partnership project with the Universal Media Unit.

However it seems that the Strategic Planning and Developing unit who were contracted to work on the project, had been primarily focusing on the impact and infrastructure for The Humans, with no work-place agreements implemented for the Angels who would be out of a job overnight.

The Guardian Angels Union , headed up by Mr Michaels and his assitant Gabrielle (surname withheld) has called for urgent talks with Celestial and Human Services , the Awareness Transition Unit, and 5 representative of the newly formed Redundant Guardian Angels alliance within the next couple of days.

Due to the sensitive nature of the discussions, The Prayer and Meditation Unit representatives have also been invited to attend and contribute their group work skills when needed.

There are several agenda items which have been given priority:

1. Future prospect of the Guardian Angels now that Humans are taking responsibility for their own destiny.

2. Budget for relocation of Angels and soaring get~Real Estate in Heaven costs since Angels no longer needed on Earth, resulting in a buyers market .

3. Strategies to deal with issues arising whilst The Humans are in transition of Law of Attraction mastery and do not need to be under 24 hour Angel watch but will need some form of on going assistance.

4. Policies and Procedures to be implemented to enable Redundant Guardian Angels to have access to advice and planning for career and /or retirement options. A new “Angel Redeployment Unit” will be established with a Board comprising of representatives of the Redundant Guardian Angels alliance and Guardian Angels Union.
More on this story as the news comes to hand…

Cyber Tribes and Diatribes

Posted by carolom on January 29, 2007

The history of human kind is brimming with the gods and goddesses, archetypes and sterotypes that make up the magnificent richness of the human experience.

We are in the pioneering era of Cyber Space and in the blink of an eye have gone from the relative isolation of home and community to having the means of journeying rapidly through space and into the realm of new relationships with the click of a mouse.

Miracles and Mirrorcles abound. We can stay at home and argue with strangers  like never before!

Cyber forums and discussion communities number millions and people can seek out strangers in space for the anonymous intimacy of connection and communication, without leaving the comfort of home, during office hours when the boss is not around from cafes across the globe, we are nattering and chattering, fighting flirting and hurting, sharing and baring across the ether.

Could Alexander Graham Bell  possibly have predicted where we are today?

I have been a member of several internet communities over the years and these are some of the types, typists stereo types and archetypes I have come across,

I have been on discussion forums that range in subject matter from the spiritual, philosophical. creativity to the literature, recipes and reflections and then there is Q&A!

Athena, Persephone, Venus, the King, the sage, the warrior and the magicians in suits. All of the great figures of story, myth and dreams can be found in their 21st century robe, sitting behind key boards imprinting Reality in the magnet of space.

Here’s a copy of my list of some of  the very predicitible patterns, types, archetypes and issues that occur right across Cyber Land.

Cyber Tribes and Diatribes in space.

Cyber communities are a gathering of people, strangers in “real life” and gatherings of people , share, celebrate, argue, bicker, support fight, bond love and mirror one another just like at the Office.

Accepting that this is how Cyber communities work, regardless of the initial commonality frees us to discern and withdraw when we feel it is “Too negative” or “too ” this or that and to enjoy the good stuff when it is there or create it.

People often think that because the commonality is perhaps an author / teachers of similar philosophy and belief or an interest in current affairs and thus  these “kinds of behaviours / views/ opinions/ arguments shouldn’t be here”. Well they are of course.
At any given moment across the net and as more and more disembodied people gather in the fonts and html’s of the cyber realm, the predicitible patterns and problems, camaradaire and conflicts become very easy to recognise.

We can no longer see the wine glass in the hand, the twinkle in the welcoming eye or the warm smile of a new stranger but it doesn’t take long to get to that place where familiarity breeds content and the other.

My experience of a number of Self-Development / Prosperity consciousness and Spirituality web sites is that the “type” of behaviours, disclosures, highs and lows that happen in one community are very common themes and experiences in cyber-space right across the web.

People often post very deep heart felt disclosures , feeling a secure sense of safety in doing so from a place of “anonymous intimacy” and it is often “The Page” that is witness to the incredible clarity and extreme despair and challenges people undergo on what Joseph Campbell would call “The Heroes Journey” (the call to adventure and change).

*On internet forums there is always a core group of regular posters who often have been around since “the early days” and check in every day.
They are defined by in-house humour and a shared history with the other regulars.
These posters sometimes have archived copies of previous discussion and the familiarity has bred content.
(Flirting, cajoling, teasing and predictable fighting  mark the intimacy of the inner core).

*The New Seeker, who is is very happy to have found a place where there are others who “think like I do”.

*The Helper, often offers random and practical support for anyone who is needing it, this person rarely argues with others and does peace maker roles when the Cyber community are fighting and having alignments.
This person is similar to:

*The Page Sage who also rarely argues and debates with the others. Some people seek out the Page Sages posts and others think their posts are predictable and irrelevant.

*The Stirrer (sometimes known as the Troll) who has a history of arguing and having heated debates with anyone who takes the bait if you rock and roll with the forum troll. -you only have your Self to blame..
Blame..there’s a reason why the word “Me” is on the end of blame.

*Those who hold opposite political and religious views. They speak for their self of course.

*The home-alone-drinker who sometimes goes back the next day and deletes their posts from their inebriated persona of the night before. They are often the charismatic crazy-makers we avoid in real life but might be tempted to dance in the hall of mirrors with in space.
Home alone drinkers osciallte between charisma and vitriol and are very skilled at manifesting the polarities of the devil and the divine….the nice and the nasty…the war and the warm.

*The Writer. The creative person who everyone tells is a very good Writer .
This person often dreams of writing The Novel but has not mastered discipline and consistency yet.

*The Alluring Woman who will post an inviting picture of herself as her avatar.
She is often a confident, don’t-muck-with-me-gal who can very easily move through the whole range of archetypes from the Goddess to the Vamp, the Hera to Athena….often as quick witted as the men folk, other women either love her or hate her -not that she cares of course.

*The person who has mistaken sacrcasm and rudeness for clever wit and arrogance for self confidence.
These people often get embroiled with The Stirrer or the Alluring Woman and The cool-confident Guy

*The Cool-confident Guy who does the straight shooting, tell it how it is posts , he is often attractive to some of the women and has a few special male friends he can banter with often goes in for a round of arguing with The Stirrer

*The Sincere Person who has little success in sustaining intimate, real life relationships yet but has many deep and caring Friendships in cyber land. This person if often still working through core issues of trust and over-coming-old-wounds-and patterns and benefits enormously from their cyber life.

*The Cyclist. This person has regular cycles of being very up beat and positive and then very down and doubtful.
The Cyclist often get severe pre-Moonstrual tension once a month…but they always snap out of it (often by returning to their books and notes from the workshops they have attended or the books they have read that brought everyone to the forum in the first place. Sometimes they take a Valium, but only if a walk through the Valley~Om has failed to life the Spirits.

Late addition suggestion by A Helper:
1) The Shape-shifter: the ones that blow with the wind wherever it’s going that day

2) The Lurkers: The ones that have been lurking on the boards longer than the oldest members yet never care to post

3) The Enabler: Encourages and supports the unaccaptable behaviour of one of the community, aligning with e.g. The Stirrer or The Victim rather than aligning with the greater good of Community Harmony.

4) The Draaamaagh addict who always manages to end up in fight no matter which community they join…the often end up on the banned list and return with a new name to continue the draaama and let people know how unfairly they have been treated.

And then there is the Q&A viewer. They are legends unto their own.

All of the forums I mentioned before have these and many other “types” of people and regularly go through periods of high energy arguing amongst regulars, peaceful periods of harmony and pleasantries, requests that someone be banned or modified and mutual support and discussion during times like 9/11 and the Tsunami, the war on Iraq, the elections etc.

Current affairs – (((currents))) generated by human affairs.

Another common theme is that the regular community members often say they have never found “anywhere else that is like this place”, it is so unique.

It is the kind of Magic one feels when dancing joyously in the Mirrorcle of space.

ALL of the self-development related forums periodically discuss the author / workshop leader and some of the discussions, hypothesis and questions are:
*Do they ever read these posts
*Do you think they have changed a lot lately
*Is it true that they were sued/ stalked/ divorced’/ getting fat/ drinking/ posting here anonymously etc etc
*He/she is not a guru you know but then again for many they are…

And blogging communities? They are a DireTribe, Cyber Tribe and DiaryTribe all rolled into One gorgeous bowl of alphabet soup!

And those Q&A posters?  An intellectually feisty lot indeed.

“Men occasionally stumble across the Truth but most pick themself up and hurry off as if nothing has happened”

I met with two of my CyberTribe Pals on a very windy day at a very gorgeous beach and we decided we were as warm and fun and raucous in real life as we were in the Cyber Realm where we met.

Another Magical Child in Exile Returns home….

Posted by carolom on January 25, 2007

Christina Thankyou so much ……SEW……much for sharing your story in response to reading “The Magical Child in Exile” post….[click here]….

That was amazing…I have tears in my eyes!

For not only am I a Magical Child in Exile but I have also become that groan-up…and I am telling my three young children to stop, stop, stop! Thus, creating more Magical Children in Exile.

I remember first coming to PI and learning LoA and The Secret. It was like a true awakening. These were things I knew as a child but had forgotten. I vividly remember knowing and believing these principles….and dancing…..and laughing….and crying….and dreaming….and believing.

Who am I to take that from my children? I hear myself tell my 3 yo to stop crying and grow up! I don’t know if I can undo the damage I’ve probably already done….but from this day forward I will feed the Magic in my Magical Children.

Thank you again.

As the Mother of 3 children you are already a “Wonder Woman” Christina… and I am thrilled for you that you will now be making sure to place the “Wonder” back into your Wonder Woman life…

You are this weeks recipient of my “Warrior Woman Award”…

We make Her in my Art of Change workshops as a way of empowering the reclaimed Creativity of the original Self…and finding our wings to fly back to who we always were…… Magic!!

….and two more from my Wonder~Woman~Warrior~Woman~Mum who is a Mother of three like you are… 3 who were able to hold onto much of the Magic thanks to her love of art, words and imagination….

Honoring our Elders

Posted by carolom on January 23, 2007

I have been blessed to have 4 significant Teachers in my life.

When I was a young girl, Rodney Kemp, my grade 6 and 7 Teacher saw something in me that I did not see in myself until many years later.
He brought creativity, lateral thinking, fun and play to his class room and was very attuned to the role of playing games and exercising as a vehicle for learning and group bonding.

During my teen years amidst the distrubance of going to 3 different high schools, another Teacher, a beautiful, larger than life African man, Vernon Hoffman shook his big jowls at me and said:

“You have a gift and you must use that Gift.”

Vernon died in his 40’s of heart failure. He had enormous reservoirs of passion and emotion pulsing through his body….
His heart felt interpretation of the world impacted the hearts and minds of all who encountered him on their path.

Another of my Teachers is very much alive and continues to inspire passion, insight, wisdom and possibility to thousands….
Her name is Dr Jean Houston……. Jean Houstons Web site
Attending Jean’s Mystery School- The Mystery of Time, The Mystery of Magic and The Mystery of Creation in 2001 changed my life in magical ways that are still unfolding today.

Thankyou Jean…and thankyou for creating the space and place where I met my beloved partner Sal….I have always thought I got the “Mystery School Door Prize” with the added bonus of meeting my partner in a place of Possibility and Passion.

I highly recommend attending her Mystery School and Social Artistry events.
Jean’s training includes developing internal, ‘Energy upgrades’ that enable us to create over-riding currents to bring about change thereby putting the Magical “action” to the attraction and her Mystery School intensives are truly a one of a kind event….

You can watch Jeans videos and hear her audio presentations on her web site…”The Alchemy of Creativity” is a fantastic discussion on the pod cast section.

This leads to my Teacher Molly…

Molly was 95 when she passed on. She did not write any books or run any seminars.
Few people would know her name and even fewer were blessed to undergo her training. Molly was very olde school Spiritualist. A clairvoyant and healer who had an extraordinarily simple outlook on life.
Vegetarian Food

Molly never drove a car, did not own a television, she washed her clothes by hand and was a vegetarian from when she was a little girl.
Simplicity personified how Molly lived her life.

I met Molly when she was in early 80’s…her white hair was like Einsteins, wild and crackling with the electricity of a vibrant, active Mind.

..A friend told me about ‘this amazing woman who runs a development circle’ so I went along with her and the moment Molly opened her arms in her welcoming embrace it was as if two wires connected and the connection was finally made between who I had been and who I was to Become.

Molly had a hug like a vice grip…I know how my cat Yami feels sometimes when I hug him too tight it almost makes his purr-pop….
For a tiny woman Molly had the hug of a thousand warrior Angels and the currents she emitted created a bridge between the world of the seen and the unseen…a bridge that I saw many Souls stroll across over the years that she was my Teacher.

It was during a Healing Circle one day….where we sat in a circle with the healers channelling therestorative energies to people on the stools before them….that I looked up and found Molly transifxing her gaze on me…staring me straight in the eye.
I was still new to the circle and did not consider myself at all to be in the position to offer healing Energy to others.
As Molly stared at me I could feel my hands beginning to tingle and a warmth fill my fingertips like I had not expereinced before.
Molly gave a small smile and with a brief nod of her head, she directed me to the centre of the circle towards a woman awaiting healing.

I placed my hands on the womans shoulder, feeling Mollys gaze transfixed behind me and at the point of connection felt that same circuit of energy connect with the woman before me.

Molly taught me that Love and sincere Intent really is the power that heals and whether it is Reiki or massage or contact healing or any of the other hundreds of ‘versions’…it is always LOVE that creates the circuit that connects and heals.

There were many special moments with Molly that impacted my life.
When I was still a young youth worker I was employed to provide the personal development training for a group of long=term unemployed young people, under 25, 5 Aboriginal- 5 non Aboriginal, 5 male , 5 female…who were a part of a dynamic employment initiative to build a mud brick house in six months.

I had never been on a building site before, the only one of us who had was Padraic the loveable Irish builder…but over a wet winter and in spite of only one of us really knowing anything about building houses ….we got that mud-brick house built and it is still standing today….17 years later, now owned by one of the participants who built it.

I sought counsel with Molly before the project began, sharing with her my concern that I might not be up to the job…what if…blah blah…and Molly heard me out as she always did and then said quietly;

“Running Wind will work with you on this project dear. If you find things get too much or you need an extra hand, call on Running Wind and he will help you out”.

Over those six months amongst dealing with pot-smoking participants who were banned from climbing ladders, mud bricks that accidentally became mud-pies and not knowing a thing about brick laying or ‘damp courses’ when asked by the participants for a hand…I called on Running Wind often.
Every time, without fail, as soon as the call silently went out, I would feel a shift in the breeze and the presence of this great Spirit who Molly had requested assistance from on my behalf.

One unruly day when we needed to pour concrete that was quickly setting in the unexpected sunshine, surrounded by teenage brick layers who were more interested in flirting and playing from behind their dark sunglases …I called Running Wind for help and it was a sudden gale force gust of wind that swept across the site that got the attention of the group and re-focused them on the task at hand as sheets of plastic and empty cement bags began to rise and fall over the site….Running wind exhaled with gusto!

Two of those Mud-brick house making teenagers are now women in their 30’s who are in positions of influence and leadership within their Communities and I know for certain that Running Winds and Molly’s influence over that project is a large part of how they have arrived at where they are today….

In September 2000 I sat with Molly in the nursing during her final days of her transition, four months before her 95th Birthday.

Molly was born on January 26th 1905 – Australia day -and for many years she lead the Australia Day march from the comfort of the lead car….waving her flag like the Queen and allowing herself just one day of the year to be recognised and applauded….by the end of the long march flag waving had slowed down and her hand would be aching from the special wave she gave to each and every person who called out her name….

The Staff in the nursing home, the good hearted over worked Nurse~Angels had no idea who Molly was or that she carried the stories of the origins of the Spritualist Church here in Adelaide, that she was a herbalist and healer, a psychic and medium who lived between two worlds in th eplace where those worlds meet… or that she took her instruction from the Miracle making formulas and Teachings of the Master Jesus.

The Nurses simply knew Molly as the very sweet, pure-white haired old lady, never any trouble, who always said “Bless you Dear” and “Thankyou Darling”…

In spite of hospital rules and regulations, they were very tolerant when I insisted on squashing myself into the bed next to the deep-sleeping Molly to read to her as she lay in the pre-transition state of unconsciousness and they were equally understanding when I filled the room to excess with Spring Jasmine because I did not want Molly to pass with the currents of the hospices cleaning chemicals and incontinence filling her senses.

Mollys story could not be told without mention that most of her family had long ago rejected Spiritualism and her communications between the worlds was considered not at all in alignment with their chosen religion…consequently, as their religion decreed, I was not able to honour her passing through her Mother Church.
I was very upset at the time, though understand things differently now…and the night after she passed Molly came to me in the in-between place and said “Love dear…that is all that matters. Forgiveness is Love. It is all okay dear”…

Molly continues to teach me…. the words that I write are her written legacy….the stories I have shared in my Womens group over the years are often her stories and the Love that she gave me, the introduction to Running Wind and her legacy of creating powerful circuits of Healing are a blessing that go beyond words and into the realm of the Infinite.

This is my Teacher Molly…..Molly …born Katherine White 1905 -2000…our photo was taken on the last Australia Day parade we went to together….

An Angel has walked amongst us……

Cloud Reading….

Posted by carolom on January 18, 2007

I am a cloud reader …it’s a bit like reading tea leaves only you can’t dunk…..
True to the Law of Attraction’s Focus + energy = Creation, I find that so often that the skies are a blue canvas of swirling pictures and images and connecting with them can be a moment of Insight and Instruction when we least expect it…and if you really BELIEVE you can align with the whirling swirling cloud currents, you can ‘think’ shapes into being. Really!

A few months ago I arranged to meet my Mother in the Zen Garden in the city…a peaceful traditional Garden complete with tea house and meditation lake, Sand-Mandala yard and sit-down spots for picnics and pleasantries.
After we finished our cup of tea on the lawn we lay on the grass gazing at the moving sky…seeing faces and sybmbols, hearts and enjoying being in one anothers company.
The older we get the more I realise how lucky I am to have my family still all here and parents who have their health.

All of a sudden….seemingly from nowhere a huge cloud appeared from over the hills…as clearly as seeing one another it was the head of a traditional Aboriginal men with a heavy set brow, full beard and very strong profile.
We gazed in awe as this resplendant figure drifted overhead, remaining in tact and unchanging for seconds longer than clouds usually do as they morph in the sky winds in and out of form.

I didn’t have the camera with us that day…somethings are just meant to be a picture in the Memory album…

I also know that we attract what we focus on…“Where concentration goes energy flows”.

I am always ever mindful we are living and creating on traditional Aboriginal Land and in that place of gratitiude and recognition I see many wonderful things of the Spirit of this land of the Kaurna people.

Last year Sal and I were travelling through the Flinders Ranges….magnificent stone and mountain range country…and I saw a HUGE cloud spirit in the sky with a profile that looked as if it was creating wind currents…..big fluffy cheeks puffing through the air.

This photo didn’t quite capture the huge round cheeks, pursed lips and peaceful countenance but if you look closely on the left hand top side…you can see the profile of this puff-cheeked Spirit in the Sky…
(Turn your head slightly to your right side to view the image as it is on an angle…put your eyes into ‘soft focus’ as it maynot appear if you look too hard…;).)

I am also very appreciative and observant of the Spiritual presence that is found through out nature and see Rock Faces and many delightful images everywhere where nature grows.

The following image is of what I call the Mountain Range Goddess of the Northern Flinders Ranges…

Can you see her?

What about if I turn Her on Her side?

It is so easy to spend our time looking at the clock, the computer, the road we are driving on, the book in front of us… surrounded by plastic no-can-smell-the-Roses….;)

I can guarantee you that if you have not tried Cloud Reading or Rock Muse~ic….there is a Universe of Mystical Beings just waiting for you to catch their eye…….;)

Those Cloud Spirits have even been known to bring out the trumpets once they know they finally have our attention…..

Money Does Grow on Trees…it’s called a ProsperiTree!

Posted by carolom on January 17, 2007

Celebrating our IndividualiTree…

Creating Empowerment Art is a process that engages people on an auditory, kinaesthetic, visual, emotional / Spiritual level which reflects the mulitplicity of peoples preferred learning styles , whilst also relieving them from the boredom of having to sit still during workshop training.

As we study the principles of “I create my reality” we create Art work that embodies the essence of the session and  the art work, which I call ProsperArty, then comes to live with us in our homes, art work that embodies self-created Intent and is also a subliminal reminder of all that we discussed in the session that day.

This week we looked at moving from Poverty to Prosperity.

From Harm to Harmony

When living in and having been born into poverty the patterns of inherited limitation and expectation of lack can run very deep so this week I made a ProsperiTree for the Women to create one of their own

It is made by tracing the hand and arm to form the branches and trunk, thus claiming:“My Prosperity is in my Hands”

Then we fill the abundant foliage with the larger currency notes, decorate it with the Vision and intent of a brighter and more abundant path in life.
Don’t we have colourful currency here in Oz?

Having the ProsperiTree on the wall in the home enables the ProsperiTree Creator to get used to SEEING money and being FAMILIAR. ~FAMILY~are~with the presence of money in their life.
The Law of Attraction is empowered when FEELING + ACTION are passionately engaged.

Getting into the FEELING of abundance in order to overcome lack and limitation!

ProsperiTree in Development:

There are many misconceptions around Money so in the between weeks of our monthly “Art of Change ~ Law of Attraction Empowerment Group”, the participants, under the skilled guidance of Deanna -Nungala, are studying The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles .
Here are some of the ProsperiTree Goddesses showing the forest of new opportunities that they have ‘drawn’ into their life.

Once we have had the “Wow” of new information and insight, the Law of Attraction requires us to begin to ACT as part of the co-creative process and to FEEL the feelings of how the new, wonderful things will look and feel and smell and taste.
Wow!! Then HOW?  Followed by NOW!

Thankyou Oprah for sharing that insight on the Anniversary Collection DVD set. I thoroughly agree that once people have ‘heard the new news, it is important that they then receive the information about how.

CHANGE is a full-bodied, experience and ‘drawing’ in those changes we begin to work more consciously  with the Law of Attraction along with  the process of time and seasons and cycles.

Empowerment Art is a heart warming, creatively empowering way to develop our creativity  manifestation skills that are often still embryonic by the time we reach an age of self enquiry and embark on the journey within.

EMpower =

How did so many end up so disconnected from the magical, creative self we knew ourselves to be as children?
I wrote a piece that might explain what happened to some and thankyou to those wonderful teachers who were able to ensure that the co-creative magic was not lost, whilst so many others inadvertently put out the fires of magic and possibility that burn so brightly in  children.

Click on the The Magical Child in Exile to read a story that might belong to you.

IndividualiTree.   It’s really all about CHOICES and CHANGE

Weapons of Mass Distraction…

Posted by carolom on January 14, 2007

WORDS SWORD…….same word…often similar in meaning when you consider that a Sword can both slash to ribbons or sculpt with finite precision.

If our Words, like the Sword are a weapon…..we‘a’ Pon……which we can learn to wield with power and influence….then it would have to be a good idea to consider the whole gamut of ‘weapons’ including those that will only move us away from our goal of connection, peace, power and prosperity so we know….sew we know…..when to exercise caution and redirection of Attention……..

This is my first draft of an A ~ Z list of Weapons of Mass Distraction that define what not to do /be/ think /reflect upon /speak/ say/ act/ beleive /visualise when consciously co~creating the life we were born to live…..

Weapons of mass distraction:
Cynicism and Criticism
Machinating Media
Quoting doom
Sexism and Sarcasm
Unforgiving of self and others
X partner issues
Zealous attachments

Interestingly the act of simply giving THOUGHT to ‘weapons of mass distraction’ creates a different feeling within than the alternate word list of words that construct and create in a way that keeps us connected to the source….LOVE.

I remember the informative scene in “What the Bleep” where it was explained that every single emotion has a chemical equivalent and how the chemicals associated to the list above would be of the kind that flood-the-blood with the chemistry of the toxins of disconnection and ill health.

Many people think and feel themselves into a state of ill health and sour-disposition….focusing on only pain and cruelty in the inner and outer world……..our hospitals are filled with that particular manifestering of the amazing way we humans are Creators.

…in no particular Order…..AWEder…..

More please
Show me the way
I Love you
How can I be of assistance?
Let’s share our resources……
Wow! This is a great opportunity

I took this photo of two bees doing their thing and simply BEE~ing….
Undistracted by extranneous thought or concern as to whether there will be enough pollen to go round, they simply get on with what they are here to do….to create the sweet elixir of life…..Honey…….they are not unlike us…..we are here to co-create the sweet elixir of life from the ‘ONE’y………;)

Spirit of Love ~ Rock Me

Posted by carolom on January 12, 2007

My Sister sent me this song…”Spirit of Love’…after the opening there is a chant:
“Spirit of Love
Take me in the palm of your hand 2X
Spirit of Love Rock me, rock me, rock me”

A short clip of it is here….the chant begins about a third way in…
Spirit of love

The full version is ten minutes long….

It was totally mesmerising ( in a drive safe way) ….

Truly if you wish to activate the feeling of Love at a deeper level, listen to the Spirit of Love with headphones on….it was so magnetic that I stepped out of my cabin into the morning light and two little girls, sisters were playing in the playground….singing together at the top of their voices..:
“I love you everyday everday I love you”

They told me they just made it up right then but I KNOW that The Spirit of Love song created currents that permeated the air and landed in the gorgeous consciousness of these two little girls who were in the circle of love fifteen feet from my cabin where the song was playing…..

How Blessed I AM to have a sister to share such a beautiful piece of music with me

I created this Mandala a few years ago that speaks of the Essence of Oneness…

In 1998 my world came tumbling down- as in Crash! Over the few month prior to the Crash! I had completed the “The Artists Way”, Julia Cameron’s outstanding 12 week-study-at-home Creative Recovery course.

For 84 days and nights  I had been affirming & engaging in exercises that release limiting patterns and creative self-sabotage, not realising that making such big  bold statements would  result in big bold changes, many of them unexpected and hugely challenging,  arriving  as part of the Creative Recovery process.

The Artists Way is based on the principles of reclaiming the  free flowing, innate   Creativity that all of us are born with  and releasing the  learnt patterns and impact of a competitively oriented education system that  can disengage  us from developing our fullest creative potential!

Creativity can be likened to growing a Garden – Gardens teach us about  sowing and reaping, weeding and seeding, patience and time. Gardens connect us with Nature and the rhythms and cycles of the natural world. Popular self help  writings often  forget to mention the seasons and cycles of change that we are co-creating with and amongst…

In February of that year I very reluctantly left the home I loved so dearly, left a relationship and in that upheaval lost my big garden with the wonderful big Cedar tree.

It all came to this bare and barren place..

I was running personal development groups for homeless women at the time and knew that life was calling me to ‘walk my talk’ like never before and to move to a new level of ….everything.

Seeing the Garden of my dreams clearly in my mind, I began seed by seed and pulling weed by weed to plant my new Garden. I planted a Forgiveness tree, 4 gum trees to honour the Elements, the 4 directions and the Mind , Body, Spirit and Emotions which make up the wholeness of who we are.Lavendar bushes for my Grandmother’s memory.

I remembered the principles I had learnt in my readings of the Findhorn Community in Northern Scotland and invited the nature Spirits and the elemental world to partner with me in my Healing Garden. How generous they were over the next few years!

My mother shared in some of the Healing Garden journey and planted a rose bush for her Mother, with a message of forgiveness and letting go in a mandala she created then  planted  in the baby rose bushes soil.

That first winter I did little other than weep, sleep and work and dig.

It was the ‘deep dark day of the Soul’ like I had never known before as I shed the layers of old patterns and life styles and beliefs  ~  beLIEfs  ~   and expectations that had taken me to a  barren garden and home without love.

In spite of the turmoil and sadness and loss, i understood  that I was in the midst of what Joseph Campbell refers to as “The Heroes Journey” and my call to ‘adventure’ meant that I had the choice to create a new garden seeded with the intent for a happy, loving, abundant life and that the s*it from yesterday was indeed the fertiliser for the new day and new garden.

The Spirit of my Garden grew and within four years my garden now looked like this:

I re-connected with Nature and  created a restful place of reflection and renewal

where I could sit under the stars and enjoy the fire in a lounge-room without walls or ceilings…

What my Garden has taught me is that if we affirm “I create the life of my dreams” and “I live a peaceful, fulfilling life”….then the circumstances and  things which are not in keeping with this decree will start to fall away (sometimes very quickly!) and  that might mean a period of enormous turmoil and loss and upheaval.

It can be pretty uncertain as we move to certainty.

But if we, one seed at a time, clear the soil, extract the weeds and water and love and cherish our Ideal.

And we no longer seek to mix oil with water by living in circumstances of chaos or drama or unhappiness whilst affirming that we deserve the best and blessings of  Life’s wonderful  gifts.  We release  that which no longer serves our life’s purpose  and allow a new vision to unfold.

Sometimes the transition from the old to the New can be a time filled with chaos and uncertainty, just like we see when the wild winds and heavy rains precipitate the gorgeous-glorious gardens of the Spring time – but it is worth it because the place beyond the uncertainty and the difficult times is a far more peaceful, creative place than the one we once thought we could never leave.

Post Script:

Regarding leaving the magnificent Cedar tree that I loved so much. A year after moving to the now-not-so-barren-house I noticed that a pot plant I had brought from my old home had sprouted a small Cedar tree from a seed dropped from the original “mother” tree.

Over the next few years it out grew the pot, splitting the sides and sending its roots down into the soil, eventually becoming a fully sized (15 feet) Daughter-Tree of the one I had to leave behind.

Not only that but a fig tree magically appeared along side, no doubt seeded by a bird in flight dropping magic-fertiliser on my garden!

The Cedar tree taught me that once we learn to let go and release, it will return to us! Not in the exact same way or even looking as we thought it would /could/ should but it will return once we have weeded out the things that have been keeping it away.

Libby the Wonder Dog

Posted by carolom on January 8, 2007

I wrote this piece in the months leading up to my dog Libby’s passing in 2005.

I dedicate it to all of us who have known the love of a furry Angel who comes to this Earth with one purpose….to share their Love with their beloved Human….

Libby The Wonder Dog

Have you ever bent down to place a bowl of doggy-dinner in front of your beloved furry friend and suddenly noticed how old she has become since last spring………only a few short months ago?

Have you ever looked into her adoring eyes only to see her return her gaze through a cloudy film that dulls the loving twinkle…
…A rolling in mist that you have never ever noticed before?

Have you ever strolled down the pet food aisle,
…past the Puppy section…brimming with roly-poly pictures of Labrador babies, breathing puppy breath you can almost smell…

…past the Active Dog Section …alive with pictures of flying canine-adolescents chasing invisible sticks
… pictures like the ones in your photo album from just a few short years ago…

…then arriving at the Seniors Section for “Less active Dogs”….
…and realising in that moment that it was a heart burstingly brief journey from one section of the aisle to its opposite end…

Have you ever sat reading and suddenly felt compelled to go outside …summonsed by your Beloved Furry Friends silent lonely call?

…to be rewarded with laughter and delight as joy spins her uncontrollably into a twirling dirvish of ecstacy…

and all because you have suddenly appeared …granting the ultimate wish of her devoted-doggy heart.

Her belief in the Magic of Manifestation unwavering , not fickled by tides of high and low….

Have you ever noticed quite suddenly that you’ve been calling her “Old Girl” …. for quite some time …even though her puppy photo is still stuck to the side of the fridge…

hmmm…it seems to be aging and yellowed…I hadn’t noticed that before…

Have you ever been patting and rubbing her coat and suddenly felt how dry the skin has become with time, …how that living breathing organ of fur seems more itchy and scratchy than ever before …..and you know that the vet would say to give her another shot of that stuff ….that relieves the itch but demands another price on her organs and blood …each shot needing to be stronger than the one

Can I put her through those cortizone blasts again…she got so sick that last time ….

Nothing has ever worked for any length of time….

Have you ever sat down at your computer to try and capture just the slightest tiniest piece .. ..of a Love that transcends the Kingdoms of fur and skin and two legs or four… …and felt the tears sting and cloud your eyes… because you know you are coming to the end of your
Beloved furry Friends Story …that she may not be with you for another Spring……..and in the telling of a small part of her life
story the Heart releases bitter-sweet tears of sadness and joy …

A short life

A Tail of moments spent in the presence of a wingless Angel wearing Coat and Tails

So you step away from the page and outside into the cool evening air…and notice yet again that she seems stiffer than ever before…

Her old bones crack…as she rises to greet you … her tail wags with ageless gusto …and you entice her with her old rubber ball

Her eyes light up…………mist suddenly gone
as the ageless ball-game passion warms muscles stiff with age
….and we are Magically transported back, through the aisles of time

As the Old Girl embodies the delight of playing “Fetch”…
We are granted a brief reprieve in the hour glass …. of her very most absolutely most Favourite Game

Have you ever noticed that, …even though you can no longer say, “She would chase the ball all day if you kept throwing it for her”…that her world is more alive when she is in the company of
Activity and

~My gorgeous little furry friend
~Daughter of tragically ferocious guard dog
…A beautiful Daughter, whose life has never really been free of the high anxiety of growing in a vicous womb

~Totally devoted
~Highly strung and emotional (leaving her tied up outside of the store could result in a puddle of tears from her bladder)
~Infinitely loyal
~Fierce protector
~Butterfly and March-fly stalker (she has never caught one yet…despite hundreds of hours staring fixedly at the moving shadows)

My gorgeous and loving Friend….

Have you ever noticed how excruciatingly short life can be when we speak of love and other indefinable things….

…..In the beginning I used to wonder why I went from a 12 year
loving partnership with peaceful,old-Soul, woolly Old English Sheep dog to a highly strung, german shephard cross bred who began her first few months in a leg cast from losing a play fight with
a cattle dog who mirrored her rough-play-mixed-with
gaurd dog ways…

And 11 years later it is all so clear.

She came to teach me that Love can never be defined by who or what has gone before…there is no mold to define how Love shapes our life…. because Love IS the mold….

Thank you Libby-loo……I Love you. XXXX

Libby loved to bury her bones in the cold ashes of the fire circle…
